Mrs. Mabel Louise Reeves Allen, age 78, passed away in Lexington Manor, Lexington, Tennessee, Wednesday, July 9, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband: Jessie Allen; her mother: Rosie Reeves; two sons: Jessie Monroe Allen and Bobby Wayne Allen; two brothers: Eugene Reeves and Sport Reeves; and three sisters: Nettie Allen, Estelle Wheeler and Jackie Reeves. Funeral services will be conducted in the Brownsville Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 11, 2008. Interment will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Allen is survived by two sons: David Earl Allen and Jerry Willard Allen and his wife, Joyce, all of Huron, TN; two daughters: Becky Usery and her husband, Ricky, Blue Goose, TN and Diane Hendrix and her husband, Harold, Brownsville, TN; one sister: Doshey Mae Duke, Hopkinsville, KY; fourteen grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
