Mr. Danny Ray Allen, age 54, passed away in the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, Jackson, Tennessee. Sunday, August 12, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents: Finis and Ada Blanton Allen; two brothers: Jessie Allen and Calvin Allen; and three sisters: Sue Cathey, Macie Allen, and Margie Cathey. Mr. Allen was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, was a six year veteran of the TN National Guard, and owner of Allen’s Exterminating. Funeral services will be conducted in the Brownsville Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 15, 2007 with Rev. Lonnie Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. Mr. Allen is survived by one daughter: Lindsey Allen, West Memphis, AR; two brothers: Dennis Allen and Larry Allen, both of Brownsville, TN; and four sisters: Sandra Horton, Memphis, TN, Brenda Warren, Brownsville, TN, Loretta McLillie, Covington, TN, and Jean Maness, Cuba, KY. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
